The ‘youth in landscapes’ initiative (www.landscapes.org/youth) aims to more effectively engage young professionals, early career scientists and students in global land use science policy fora. Masterclasses build skills and confidence, youth design and apply collaborative problem solving approaches to help tackle real-world problems the Global Landscapes Forum youth session and a conference mentoring program pairs younger and senior delegates with similar backgrounds and interests.
