Project description
The purpose of the Euroblog is to collect and compile contributions of young Europeans, representing different countries and backgrounds, into one coherent blog administered by Fædreladsvennen1. The overarching focus of the blog is 'Being Young in Europe - Hopes and Aspirations'. Within that broad thematic boundary, contributors are free to write about topics that interest them and in a style they are comfortable with.
The contributors to the Euroblog will be drawn from across Europe. Criteria for selection are:
age and quality and ingenuity of written work. The bloggers have to be enrolled at university or have completed a university degree. It is a clear advantage to have previous experience with writing and publishing via social media. Diversity across gender, nationality and age (within the set range) will also be strived for.
The selected candidates will be asked to confirm their participation for an initial period of six months, contributing tentatively with one blogpost per month. All published contributions will be remunerated. Details of remuneration will be made individually with each contributor. Fædrelandsvennen will retain the right not to publish submitted posts if these are found unsuitable for publication. Unpublished posts will not be paid. The bloggers are welcome and encouraged to write in their mother tongue. All posts will be translated to Norwegian and published both in Norwegian and in the original language.

- Resume/CV: make sure to indicate education and previous writing experience
- Writing sample: A sample blogpost of 1-2 pages on the topic: 'How do you envision your future and the future of Europe?'
Please submit these by 31 December 2012. By the first week of January candidates will be selected. The launch of the Euroblog is planned for January 2013.
