Our Common Food is an ideas competition determined to come up with innovative ideas to fight food waste in Switzerland and postharvest losses in developing countries. The two best ideas will receive CHF 10,000 in funding to further develop their projects and all participants have access to valuable information, networks, and feedback.
The competition is supported by the ETH Zurich World Food System Center, Bühler AG, SVIAL asiat, the School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences HAFL, the international centre for water management services (cewas), Syngenta Crop Protection AG and foodwaste.ch and is under the patronage of the Swiss National FAO Committee (CNS-FAO), the Swiss Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
