The London School of Economics partners with Oxford University and the UK's Department for International Development in the work of the International Growth Center (IGC), which conducts research on the growth policies of developing countries. The current call for proposals includes a theme on energy (among others). The focus countries are Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Ghana, India (Central and Bihar), Liberia, Myanmar, Mozambique, Pakistan, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.
