Studying programmes
The faculty offers studies in the following bachelor's, follow-up master's and doctoral degree programmes:
Bachelor's Degree Programmes
They are designed for 3 years. The degree is abbreviated to B.Sc. and can be used before the name. The FTA offers two undergraduate (Bachelor's) programmes:
- Agriculture in the Tropics and Subtropics
- International Cooperation in Agriculture and Rural Development
- Master's Degree Programmes
Master's degree programmes
The graduates of the Bachelor degree programmes of either the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague and other Czech or foreign universities may then continue their studies in two-year follow-up master's study programmes, that are taught in English only. They will receive the title of M.Sc. (Engineer). The faculty offers seven follow-up Master study programmes.

Doctoral studies
Doctoral studies follow on from Master's Degree courses and take 3 years. Doctoral studies allow excellent Master Degree graduates to prepare for a scientific career. The Doctoral study programmes offered by the FTA are also taught only in English, including:
- Tropical Agrobiology and Bioresource Management
- Sustainable Rural Development in the Tropics and Subtropics
- Agriculture in Tropics and Subtropics
