JIRCAS provides fellowships to researchers in developing countries to collaborate with Japanese counterparts for research in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries.
Two types of fellowships are offered.
- The "Tsukuba" fellowships will be carried out at the JIRCAS headquarters in Japan.
- The "Project Site" fellowships will be at the research institutes in the developing countries where JIRCAS collaborative research projects are being implemented.
