The Tri-continental Program brings together three networks of social science researchers in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Eligibility for the grants extends to experienced researchers in the social sciences who have masters or doctoral degrees, and who are supported by one of the organizing institutions (APISA, CLACSO, or CODESRIA) or their host institutions.

The Tri-Continental Program will fund a total of nine proposals (three per region). The maximum grant is US$10 thousand per project. The deadline for receipt of applications is 30 April 2012.
