International Foundation for Science: Collaborative Research on Neglected and Underutilized Food Crops in Africa

The International Foundation for Science (IFS) calls for expressions of interest from early-career scientists to engage in collaborative research on neglected and underutilized species of food crops in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Small teams will be able to apply for grants of up to US$75 thousand. Each team will have at least one collaborator from West Africa (Ghana, Nigeria), and at least one from eastern or southern Africa (South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda).

The current call is to solicit expressions of interest from qualified young researchers in these countries. IFS will provide further guidance to those who register to participate.
