Agropolis Foundation: Collaborative Research with Brazil

The Agropolis Foundation (France) and the Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education (CAPES) announce their Joint Call for Proposals 2012.  The program supports inter-disciplinary research related to agricultural plant breeding, crop protection, agri-environmental innovations, and other subjects, as follows:

Only proposals that clearly reinforce Franco-Brazilian scientific cooperation are eligible. Applications are welcomed from teams of researchers in France and Brazil, possibly including partners from other countries (e.g., in Africa) and international organizations.

The Agropolis Foundation (France) and the Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education (CAPES) announce their Joint Call for Proposals 2012.  The program supports inter-disciplinary research related to agricultural plant breeding, crop protection, agri-environmental innovations, and other subjects, as follows:

  • Genetics and genomics, plant breeding, eco-physiology;
  • Plant pests and diseases, integrated crop protection, population ecology;
  • Agri-environmental innovations, agri-ecosystems and resources management;
  • Agri-food innovations, food and non-food uses of crops; and
  • Innovation processes, social management of innovations.

Only proposals that clearly reinforce Franco-Brazilian scientific cooperation are eligible. Applications are welcomed from teams of researchers in France and Brazil, possibly including partners from other countries (e.g., in Africa) and international organizations.

Applications for funding should not exceed €100 thousand, with a maximum contribution of €50 thousand from Agropolis Fondation per project. The next deadline for proposals is 11 February 2013.
