The Ekhaga Foundation (Sweden) makes grants for research in ecological agriculture and biological medicine.
The Foundation's research in agriculture relates to improvement and further development of ecological agriculture. It seeks to encouragne ecologically well-suited agricultural systems where chemical compounds for fertilization and other uses are replaced with ecological and biological measures of promoting production. Further, the Foundation can support research in preparation and storage of food with natural technology.
Universities, research institutes, etc., from all over the world are invited to apply, although Ekhaga recommends cooperation with a European institution. Grant seekers can read Ekhaga's guidelines for preparing proposals and budgets. The deadline for pplications is 31 May 2013.
