UNESCO announces funding from the Roth Family Foundation to train a future generation of women leaders in West Africa regarding issues of water and sanitation. The fellowships will enable the participants to follow an online course. Eligible countries are Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Saint Helena, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo. The application deadline is10 February 2013.
