The EU-FAO Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade Program (EU FAO FLEGT Program 2012-2016) announces its first call for proposals from developing countries that have signed a Voluntary Partnership Agreement (VPA) with the European Union. Applications are invited from government institutions, civil society organizations, and organizations/federations in the private sectors of the VPA countries (listed in the announcement). Grants are up to 100 thousand for actions that support any of the seven themes of the FLEGT program. The deadline for applications (English, French, Spanish) is 31 May 2013.
