The Know-how Exchange Program (KEP) of the EBRD's Central European Initiative co-finances the transfer of know-how and best practices from EU to non-EU member countries of the CEI. The program invites proposals for up to fifty percent of total project costs (maximum grant of 40 thousand). Thematic areas include climate, environment, and sustainable energy; sustainable agriculture; and several others. Proposals are submitted by organizations in CEI member states which are also member states of the European Union. The non-EU members of the CEI are Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, and Ukraine. The closing date is 17 July 2013.
