UK Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs (Defra) -- Darwin Initiative, Round 20

Co-administered by Defra and the UK's Department for International Development (DFID), the Darwin Initiative contributes knowledge that links biodiversity conservation and poverty reduction in low and middle-income countries. There are no restrictions on the nationality or location of applicants (although India and South Africa are not eligible for projects). The closing date for Main Projects (Stage 1) is 17 July 2013; the closing date for Post Projects and Darwin Plus (for British Overseas Territories) is 23 September 2013.
