World Wildlife Fund U.S. - Reforestation Grants 2014

 WWF has an ambitious goal to restore 20 landscapes of outstanding importance within priority ecoregions by 2020. In order to help accomplish this goal, WWF’s Russell E. Train Education for Nature (EFN) program, with generous funding from the UPS Foundation, has a special grant opportunity focused on Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR).

To be eligible for an EFN Reforestation Workshop Grant, an organization must meet the following criteria:

Train Education for Nature (EFN) program, with generous funding from the UPS Foundation, has a special grant opportunity focused on Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR).

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for an EFN Reforestation Workshop Grant, an organization must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a legally registered organization in a WWF-US priority ecoregion.
  • Conduct reforestation /restoration activities in a WWF-US priority ecoregion (priority is given to local organizations conducting tree planting activities).
  • Include an active learning, practical skill component, or field-based learning activity that builds skills and knowledge for local stakeholders as part of the project activities.
  • Priority is given to local organizations that have not yet benefited from this opportunity.
  • Complete all grant activities before August 31, 2014.

Applications must be submitted online by December 15, 2013.
