ZELS is a research program of several UK government organizations to minimize the health risks associated with the rapidly changing nature of livestock systems in developing countries. On behalf of all partners in ZELS, NERC is managing a call for for doctoral training. Applications are restricted to consortia that already have ZELS grants, and that would be interested in hosting a cohort of 15 doctoral students. About half of these individuals will be from developing countries. Funding will be awarded for a single intake of 15 studentships commencing in the academic year 2015-2016.
