By means of the Pilot Innovation Fund III, the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves will provide grants of up to US$150 thousand to finance and pilot innovations across the clean cooking value chain. The Alliance seeks to support innovative technologies and business models with the potential to contribute to the goal of reaching 100 million households by 2020.
Technology innovations include (but are not limited to) new developments in cookstoves, fuels, and other improved cooking solutions. Examples of Business model innovations include consumer finance mechanisms, social marketing or new distribution models.

How to participate
To participate in this competition, please carefully follow these steps:
- Become a registered partner of the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves (click here if you aren’t a registered partner yet)
- Create a member account and complete your entrepreneur profile on this site. If you already have an account, please make sure your profile is up to date before proceeding with your application.
- Login and go to the Pilot Innovation Fund 2014 competition page. Download the application documents in the “Application Packet” to be duly completed and submitted as part of your application. You will also find additional helpful resources in the packet to help you prepare your application.
- Click on “Start your Application” and fill out the submission form.
- Upload the necessary attachments and submit your application.
