Through AFD and CIRAD, the government of France is sponsoring a competition to choose the best innovations in agriculture and forestry to fight the impacts of climate change. Twelve winners will be invited to promote and publicize their innovations at the Paris International Agricultural Show (February 2015). The competition is open to individuals, farmers organizations, financial institutions, actors from the economic and social sectors, and local government authorities in Africa, the Mediterranean, Asia, Latin America, and the French Overseas Territories.
