In collaboration with several funding partners, the IDB announces IDEAS V (2014) to promote energy innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean. Proposals should focus on renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, including bio-fuels and access to energy in rural areas. Grants will range from a maximum of US$100 thousand to a maximum of US$200 thousand, depending on the source of funding. Projects must be completed within one year. Proposals are invited in Spanish, English, Portuguese, or French from organizations and individuals in any country of Latin America and the Caribbean that is a member of the IDB.
