The EEP for Southern and East Africa announces its tenth call for proposals. The EEP seeks local projects implemented by the private sector in renewable energy and energy efficiency that are close to commercial maturity, but that need a limited amount of bridging finance. The maximum grant will range from €200 thousand to €1 million, depending on project co-financing. Eligible countries are Botswana, Burundi, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.
