Finland's Ministry for Foreign Affairs collaborates with the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture to support the EEP with the Andean Region.
The EEP offers funding to promote projects in renewable energies and energy efficiency in rural and peri-urban areas of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Eligibility for funding extends to NGOs, public and private enterprises, cooperatives, producer associations, and academic institutions legally registered in the participating countries. Funding will range from US$100 thousand to US$250 thousand per project, up to 50% of total project costs.
