North Star Science and Technology, collaborating with the American Bird Conservancy, announce the 9th bi-annual North Star Science and Technology Transmitter Grant Program. North Star will award a total of eight battery-powered or solar- powered satellite transmitters for the study of bird migration. The program is open to researchers from around the world, and several past awards were made for birds in Asia, the Pacific, and Latin America.
