OBJECTIVE?

Become a SPECIALIST IN INTEGRATED RURAL DEVELOPMENT, through a TWO YEAR MASTER PRO- GRAMME jointly organised by six EUROPEAN LEADING INSTITUTES in Agricultural Economics and Ru- ral Development, in collaboration with several partners in the UNITED STATES, CHINA, ECUADOR, IN- DIA AND SOUTH AFRICA.

HOW?

Receive a combination of BASIC AND SPECIALISED TRAINING in technical, economic and social sci- ences, participate in a CASE STUDY of one month and edit your individual MASTER THESIS. The pro- gramme includes A HIGH EXTENT OF STUDENT MOBILITY, making it possible to learn from specialists worldwide.

SCHOLARSHIPS?

Being an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree, the IMRD programmes is entitled to - each academic year - award a limited number of Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Student scholar- ships to promising nationals of Erasmus + partner countries. Apply for the programme and the schol- arship simultaneously.

Starting intake 2015, partner universities and consortium beneficiaries award a limited number of full IMRD Consortium Scholarships to young promising students from all nationalities. As these scholar- ships are mainly provided by consortium partners, awarded students are expected to study at least half of the IMRD programme, and conduct their master dissertation at the partner awarding them the scholarship.
