Norway and China will collaborate in research related to energy, climate, and the environment in China. Focal areas are China's energy system and China's urban growth, and the interrelationships they have for the environment, public health, and climate. Grant proposals should primarily take a social science and/or humanities approach, but disciplines such as natural science and technology may be incorporated when relevant.
