The (USA) National Geographic Society, in partnership with the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, welcomes nominations for the 2016 Buffett Awards for Leadership in Conservation. There is one annual award for Africa, and another for Latin America. The awards honor the achievements of conservation leaders in these two regions, and support their ongoing work with grants of US$25 thousand.
