U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) -- Pacific-American Climate Fund

The Pacific-American Climate Fund (PACAM) is a five-year project that provides grants to civil society organizations in the developing countries of the Pacific Islands to support measures for climate change adaptation. PACAM will consider proposals that reduce long-term vulnerabilities associated with climate change and that provide other benefits such as livelihoods enhancement, food security, improved health, better governance, or sustainable management of natural resources. The eligible countries are Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Marshall Islands, Micronesia,Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. Organizations that do not have previous experience with USAID are encouraged to apply. Grants are up to US$250 thousand for projects of up to two years.
