Indian Ocean Commission -- Coastal, Marine, and Island Biodiversity

With financial support from the European Commission, the Indian Ocean Commission invites proposals to develop and strengthen national and regional capacity to manage the use of coastal, marine, and island ecosystems for biodiversity conservation in the Eastern and Southern Africa-Indian Ocean (ESA-IO) region. The participating countries are Comoros, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles, and Tanzania. The program is open to non-state actors and local authorities in the ESA-IO countries. Organizations in the EU, OECD/DAC countries, ACP countries, and international organizations may participate as co-applicants.
