The UK's NERC and India’s Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) jointly invite proposals for research on sustaining water resources for food, energy, and ecosystem services in India. Applicants are invited to submit proposals for interdisciplinary research project focused on the main hydrological processes and how they interact within one of the three case study regions: the Himalayas, the Indo-Gangetic Plain, or Peninsular India. Applications must include at least one India-based researcher and at least one UK-based researcher. Up to £1 million per case study will be provided by NERC, to be matched by India's MoES in terms of research effort.
