EPFL's Cooperation and Development Center announces FLASH Research Projects for Swiss partnerships with Brazil and India. FLASH aims to enable researchers to react quickly in case of exceptional events by setting up joint research projects. Among other categories, exceptional events that merit a flash response include floods, drought, landslides, and similar environmental disruptions. There is no restriction as to where the studied event takes place. The maximum funding per project is CHF 100 thousand. Applications will be accepted until the earmarked funds are fully allocated. The application deadline is 31 December 2015.
