The EC offers support to improve food security in four departments of Haiti. Activities should focus on agricultural diversification (including aquaculture), agricultural water supply, access to agricultural services and infrastructure, cooperatives for processing and marketing, potable water and sanitation, and other interventions to help smallholder agriculturalists. Eligibility for funding extends to non-profit NGOs in Haiti and EU member states, and countries included under the Development Cooperation Instrument. Grants are €500 thousand to €1.5 million.
