The Smithsonian Institution annually awards fellowships for independent study or research at one or more of the Smithsonian’s 19 units and research centers, including the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI). The awards include: graduate student fellowships; pre-doctoral fellowships; post-doctoral fellowships; and senior fellowships. The fellowship program is open to qualified applicants worldwide.
