The ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) will make grants to promote gender equality and improve energy access in West Africa through the ECOW-GEN Facility. The Facility supports three programs: the ECOWAS Women’s Business Fund; the Women’s Technical Exchange Program; and Women Economic Empowerment through Energy for Productive Uses. Calls for project proposals in the Facility’s pilot phase can be submitted through 31 December 2015.
