British Council -- Training Programs, Brazil with UK

The Newton Fund in Brazil is offering grants to develop new UK-Brazil training programmes that support staff or researchers in Brazilian public and civil society institutions, science museums, and botanic gardens. Thematic priorities are climate and environment; agriculture; urban transformations; forest economy; fair trade; and others. Applications are submitted by Brazilian institutions and are supported by one or more UK counterparts (universities, research institutions, or public agencies). Grants between £10 thousand and £100 thousand are available for up to 50% of project costs. The application deadline is 20 January 2016.
