Critical Ecosystems Partnership Fund (CEPF) -- Biodiversity Conservation in Sub-Saharan Africa

The CEPF has launched two new calls for proposals in support of biodiversity conservation in the Eastern Afromontane Biodiversity Hotspot. Call #14 requests proposals to identify new key biodiversity areas (KBAs) and prioritize existing KBAs in Burundi, Dem Rep Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Malawi, Mozambique, South Sudan,Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Call #15 requests proposals to add value to CEPF's program in Mozambique and Zimbabwe, with a focus on the Chimanimani Mountains. The small grants (less than US$20 thousand) in both calls for proposals are available to NGOs, community groups, private enterprises, universities, and other civil society organizations. The closing date for letters of inquiry (English, French, Portuguese) is 19 February 2016.
