APN is partnering with Cambodia's Ministry of Environment to support a workshop in October 2015 on developing research proposals in subject areas of environment and climate change. The workshop aims to enhance the capacity of young researchers and practitioners in Cambodia and other countries of Southeast Asia to develop competitive proposals to submit to APN for funding. The main topics of the workshop will be related to environmental problems and policy issues in Southeast Asia, and the socio-economic impacts of climate change. This workshop is open to young scientists/practitioners who are from, living, and working in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. APN will support the participation costs of applicants from the countries other than Cambodia. The application deadline is 18 September 2015.
