Elsevier Foundation -- Awards for Early-Career Women Scientists 2016

The Elsevier Awards for Early-Career Women Scientists in the Developing World honor scientific and career achievements by women from developing countries in five regions: Latin America and the Caribbean; the Arab region; Sub-Saharan Africa; Central and South Asia; and East and Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The 2016 awards will be in the biological sciences covering agriculture, biology, and medicine. The five winners will each receive a cash prize of US$5 thousand in addition to paid travel and expenses to attend the next meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
