SANDEE is organizing a Summer School in Environmental and Resource Economics in May 2016. The workshop seeks to introduce economists in South Asia to different themes in environment and development economics, and to provide skills to teach and carry out research in this area. Economists interested in upgrading their knowledge and developing research proposals for later submission to SANDEE are invited to apply. SANDEE will provide a scholarship of US$2,500 per participant to deserving candidates to cover course material, international travel, food, and accommodation. Participants pay a US$100 registration fee and are responsible for local travel, travel insurance, visa fees, and other personal expenses. The application deadline is 26 February 2016.
