IUCN-Oceania announces the first round of funding in its Small Grants Enterprise & Community Development Accelerator. The program will provide up to US$20 thousand for projects in the Cook Islands, Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. The priority focus areas are renewable energy; energy efficiency; sustainable land and sea transport; and biodiversity/ecosystem conservation. The deadline for applications is 01 June 2016.
