CCRIF SPC (formerly the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility) serves the Wider Caribbean Region in reducing the economic impact of natural catastrophes. As a part of its program, the facility provides scholarships to students at the post-graduate level to pursue study in areas related to disaster risk management. Eligibility extends to citizens of CARICOM member countries and/or CCRIF member countries in the Caribbean. The scholarships are valued at a maximum of US$40 thousand at extra-regional universities, and US$20 thousand at regional universities. The deadline for applications is 22 May 2016.
