The Energy Innovation Challenge welcomes ideas for social enterprises powered by off-grid energy in East Africa. Individuals and teams of up to three people may apply for this competition, with a preference for teams. Applicants must be 30 years of age or younger. The winners will participate in the Cambridge Development Initiative training course at the University of Dar es Salaam, and compete for a prize of US$3 thousand. The closing date is 16 April 2016.
