The MacArthur Foundation’s Conservation and Sustainable Development program invites letters of inquiry for conservation projects in the watersheds of the Tropical Andes. Proposals should have regionwide impact or influence in at least two of the four focus countries: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. In addition to other criteria, MacArthur prefers projects that will promote effective partnerships with national and local organizations, including through sub-grant arrangements. Grants are for periods of one to three years. The deadline for letters of inquiry (in English) is 02 May 2016.
