The Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund offers scholarships to Indian nationals and nationals of other eligible Asian countries for doctoral studies at universities in India. The areas of specialization include ecology and environment (among others). Applications for scholarships are welcomed from qualified individuals in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. Scholarship applicants must already be admitted for a Ph.D. degree at a recognized institution of higher education in India. The deadline for applications is 31 May 2016.
