The EC announces funding to protect the coastal zones and maritime resources of Lebanon from environmental degradation caused by land-based sources of pollution. The aim is to develop and improve comprehensive management of municipal solid waste and industrial waste at the level of Lebanon's municipalities. The lead applicant must be a local authority, NGO, or international organization established in the EU, Lebanon, or partner countries covered by the European Neighborhood Instrument.
