SciLifeLab -- Prizes for Young Scientists in the Life Sciences 2016

In order to promote early-career scientists, SciLifeLab in Sweden collaborates with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation to award annual prizes the best PhD thesis work in the life sciences. Recent doctoral graduates are invited to submit an essay based on their thesis work. Four winners, in different categories, will be selected for this international award. The categories include one in Ecology and Environment. The competition is open to all countries and nationalities. The winners will share US$60 thousand in prize money, and their essays will be published. The application deadline is 01 August 2016.
