The Orange Social Venture Prize is awarded to entrepreneurs and start-up organizations that make innovative use of ICTs in agriculture, energy, and other fields of development. The geographical focus is Africa and the Middle East. Prizes range from €5 thousand to €25 thousand, plus professional support for a period of six months. The eligible countries are Botswana, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Dem Rep Congo, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Niger, Senegal, and Tunisia.
