U.S. Department of State -- Grants for Marine Protected Areas in the Pacific Islands

The U.S. Department of State offers funding to create and more effectively implement marine protected areas in the Pacific Islands. Grants can be made for projects in Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. Applications are welcome from NGOs, educational institutions, and non-U.S. public entities. The program has a total of US$445 thousand for up to two projects. Funding Opportunity EAP-EAPAQM-16-013. The application deadline is 29 July 2016.
