tvebiomovies 2016 - Film category about smallholder farming in developing countries

Each year, tvebiomovies works with funders to inspire young people around environmental and development issues.

This year they are partnering with the UNFCCC, IFAD, GEF, and Connect4Climate among others and one of the film categories is about Farming, particularly small family farms in the developing world. Film makers need to submit a proposal for a film explaining needs to protect biodiversity, the effects of  climate change , what issues arise around water scarcity, and the role of women. There are five categories in the short film competition – each looking at different aspects of planetary boundaries. The winner in each category – the film which receives the most views on tve‘s Inspiring Change YouTube channel – will receive US$1500.
