The African Union Research Grant (AURG) was initiated to support a Pan African research and development through grants and direct funding. The initiative provides support and funding for projects which use Science and Technology (S&T) as a tool for sustainable development, building and strengthening Africa’s S&T capacities. Projects that qualify for funding includes: Science, technology and innovation in the agricultural sector, wealth creation, food and nutrition security and political stability. AURG targets projects from African countries especially EU member states. Grant range for this opportunity is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00
