The Canadian Embassy in Senegal calls for project submissions from Cape Verde, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and Senegal to the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives. Subject areas include climate change and environmental sustainability, green economic growth, and others. The majority of funding is directed toward local civil society organizations and other organizations working at the local level. Partners may be local NGOs, village or neighborhood associations, community organizations, etc. The Fund is also open to international and regional organizations, as well as to local, regional, and national governments.
