The Marine Research Grant (MARG) program enables young scientists in WIOMSA member states to turn their ideas into research projects, and to present research results at regional and international fora. The member states are Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Reunion, Seychelles, South Africa, and Tanzania. MARG I makes grants for research in the applicant's home country; MARG II supports research external to the applicant's home country; and MARG III offers travel grants. Applications may be submitted at any time.
